Installed so it actually works

Smart locks fail for boring reasons: a door that doesn't line up, a bolt that drags, a strike plate in the wrong spot. The lock then strains, the battery dies early, and the bolt doesn't throw. We fix the door alignment while we are there.

We fit keypad levers, keypad deadbolts and fingerprint locks, set the master code and user codes, and walk you through changing them.

How the price works

Smart lock installs depend on the lock model and how much the door needs adjusting. If you supply the lock, you pay for the install only.

Free on-site estimate on most jobs, and the final price is said before any work starts. You can still say no.

Will a smart lock fit my door?

Most fit a standard deadbolt hole. Older San Francisco doors sometimes need adjusting. We check before we install.

Can you install one I already bought?

Yes. Have it at the address and tell us the brand and model when you call.

What happens if the battery dies?

Most keypad locks still take a backup key or have an emergency power contact. We show you which one yours has.
