This policy explains what personal information Local Locksmith CA Inc ("we") collects when you call us, text us, use this website or book a job, and what we do with it. We follow the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA) in how this policy is laid out.

Who we are

What we collect

• Contact details: name, phone number, email address.
• Job details: service address, a description of the lock, door or vehicle, and any photo you choose to upload.
• Proof of ownership: we look at ID, a lease, a bill or vehicle registration before opening. We do not keep copies unless a dispute requires it.
• Payment records: amount, method and date. Card numbers stay with the payment processor; we never keep them.
• Calls and texts: phone numbers, call times and the content of text messages, kept in our phone system.
• Website data: pages visited, device and browser type, and approximate location, collected through cookies and similar technology.

Why we use it

To answer your request, dispatch a technician, confirm you are entitled to the door or vehicle, take payment, keep job records the law requires, follow up on the work, and understand how people find and use this website and which of our ads bring customers.

Who we share it with

Service providers that run our operations: our phone and text message provider, our job scheduling system, our website host (Netlify, which receives form submissions), our card processor, and Google, which receives visit data through Google Analytics and the Google Ads tag. We share information with authorities only when the law requires it. We do not sell personal information.

Text messages

If you agree to receive text messages, we use your mobile number only to text you about your request and job. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. Reply STOP to any message to opt out. See our text message terms.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics, Google's measurement service, to see how this website is used. When a page loads, Google's script stores cookies on your device and reports details of the visit to Google: which pages you opened, the type of device and browser, your rough location and the site or search that brought you here. We look at that in summary form to learn which pages help people reach us and which do not. What you type into our forms, your name and your phone number are not passed to Google Analytics. Google explains how it handles that data at How Google uses information from sites that use its services, and you can block Google Analytics in your browser with Google's opt-out add-on.

Advertising measurement and Do Not Track

This website also carries the Google Ads tag, which sets cookies to measure ad clicks and calls. Your browser settings let you clear or refuse cookies at any time, and you can manage ad personalization in your Google account. Our site does not respond to browser Do Not Track signals; the Google tags behave according to Google's own settings.

How long we keep it

Job records are kept as long as we need them for the job, for warranty questions, and for the record keeping California requires of locksmith companies. Form submissions and messages are deleted when no longer needed.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing locallocksmithsca@gmail.com. We may keep records the law requires us to keep.

Children

Our services and this website are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, the new version will appear on this page with a new date.
