Down the Peninsula, when the job calls for it
Our daily run ends around Burlingame, but the van keeps going when someone further south needs it: San Mateo, Foster City, Belmont, San Carlos, Redwood City, Menlo Park, and over the hill to Half Moon Bay. Here is what that looks like, and how the timing works.
Car keys, mostly
Most of our Peninsula calls are car keys. A lost fob in Foster City, a key that stopped starting a car in Redwood City, a spare for a second driver in Menlo Park. We come to the driveway or the office garage and the key gets made beside the car, for most makes, including the all-keys-lost job where we build one from nothing. It is usually cheaper and always faster than a tow to a dealer.
On the coast, Half Moon Bay and the harbor at Pillar Point bring the same story Pacifica does: keys dropped off a boat or lost on the beach, and a new one made at the lot.

Homes and timing
Lockouts, rekeys and lock replacements happen here the same as in the city, and we handle them the same way: open without damage, price at the door, every door on one key when you want it. The difference is distance. When you call from the southern part of the county, the person on the phone tells you honestly where the van is and how long the drive is. If we cannot get there in a reasonable time, we say so.

How the price works
Distance can add to the price for the southern part of the county. You hear that on the phone, before the van leaves, never at the door.
Free on-site estimate on most jobs, and the final price is said before any work starts. You can still say no.
